Usma's day

Usma is a single parent to four year old Inayah. She is a member of support groups which help her build up her confidence, and also helps out at a local community centre.

These photos show the story of Usma's regular Friday routine with her daughter.

I usually walk half way and then catch the bus to my mum's support group with Home Start.

Back on the bus to grab a quick lunch

Quick play in the park on the way home. If the weather isn't great, we usually have a little story time after her craft class in the library.

Then home to clean, tidy up and cook dinner.

Time for bed!

 

8.30pm

We arrive home, get her ready for bed, story and settle in with the hope of a sleep in for the next day which never happens but one can wish!
