Najwa's day
Najwa is a process engineer and is working on a PhD in Edinburgh. She wants to encourage more young women to consider STEM careers, and starts her day early to fit in socialising, cooking and working out.

I am Najwa, a process engineer and PhD student.
I develop very thin material for lasers, detectors and communication systems.
6.30am
Morning bus journey.
Ten more minutes walk. Today is a snowy day.
7.01am
Usually make it work around 7am.
My morning cuppa with some honey.
My work is about experimenting...
...observing, ...
...and analyzing.
Team work is very important!
11am
It is 11am. The weather is getting worse.
12.30pm
Some warm and filling lunch around 12.30pm.
Lunch break is a very convivial moment to have a good laugh and forget about work.
4pm
Workout time. A healthy spirit with a healthy body!
Some spinning today will be great!
5.45pm
Back home. It's been a challenging day!
6.30pm
It is 6.30pm. My "golden milk". YUM!
