What will you be doing between 12am and 1am?

Heading to bed & hopefully get to sleep quickly.

What will you be doing between 1am and 2am?

Mostly sleeping but likely to be woken once by my disabled husband to help him turn in bed.

What will you be doing between 2am and 3am?

Hopefully just sleeping!

What will you be doing between 3am and 4am?

Mostly sleeping but probably woken by my disabled husband to help him reposition to be comfortable. Might also be woken by his ventilator alarm.

What will you be doing between 4am and 5am?

Mostly sleeping but often woken by disabled husband at this time to reposition.

What will you be doing between 5am and 6am?

Still mostly sleeping but often woken by my disabled husband at this time for help.

What will you be doing between 6am and 7am?

6.36 alarm goes off & I hit snooze till 6.45. Up & in shower.

What will you be doing between 7am and 8am?

Wake daughter as she leaves for bus to high school at 7.45am. Get packed lunches made & any shirts that need ironing etc. Make tea & toast- have 5 mins to check diary & social media. 7.25 to 8am is spent helping my disabled husband to get up & ready for work, lots of personal care & using hoists, help to wash & dress etc.

What will you be doing between 8am and 9am?

Wake son at 8am if he's not already up & get breakfast for him & husband. Prompt son to brush teeth & get dressed after breakfast, help husband to brush teeth & finish getting ready for work- he's out by 8.25 to get taxi to work. Take 10-15 minutes getting myself ready to leave the house, then drop son at school and start 35-45 minute drive to work.

What will you be doing between 9am and 10am?

Drive of 25 miles to work- arrive between 9.15 and 9.30 and start work as soon as I arrive. (Manager of small charity)

What will you be doing between 10am and 12pm?

Working

What will you be doing between 12pm and 1pm?

Working - often work through lunch break

What will you be doing between 1pm and 5pm?

Working

What will you be doing between 5pm and 6pm?

Driving home- 25 miles and often more traffic so a longer drive home.

What will you be doing between 6pm and 7pm?

Home & make dinner

What will you be doing between 7pm and 8pm?

Taking one of kids to their club/activity Doing dishes, checking homework

What will you be doing between 8pm and 9pm?

Collecting one of kids from their club/activity

What will you be doing between 9pm and 10pm?

Make supper for husband & then try and catch up with him & watch a bit of tv.

What will you be doing between 10pm and 11pm?

Help husband to get to bed. Sort washing & iron anything needing done (I often leave this till the following morning). Make sure husband's wheelchair is charged for next day.

What will you be doing between 11pm and 12pm?

Sit down in peace for half an hour- catch up on social media & Holby City! Bed!
