My day will consist of...

seeing my accountant to discuss the tax implications of shutting the special purposes vehicle I set up to make the film - Leaning into the Wind - Andy Goldsworthy which will have its world premiere at the San Francisco International Film festival in April. Also discussing my personal tax return. There will be some traffic on the family what's app since it is International Women's Day. In the afternoon I'll be working on research on a missionary wife in Calcutta till I go out to my daughter's in Leith. In the evening I'm at the Women's dinner in the Parliament.

I'll look after...

two grandchildren for a couple of hours late afternoon

Other things I'll do in the day are...

wear my International Women's Year badge from 1975 and my ribbon badge from the first days of Engender. Tell my granddaughter what it's about. Remember Freda White and Frances Gordon. Reminding my son it's International Women's Day.

I'll go to bed after...

packing to go to Paris and Skyping my daughter there to find out how her International Women's Day busk on the Paris Metro went.
