What will you be doing between 7am and 8am?

Listening to / getting very angry at Radio 4's Today Programme while beginning to think about work, possible checking emails and news feeds.

What will you be doing between 8am and 9am?

If I have time, breakfast. On a really good day, make lunch. Shower, getting things together for work, trying to find an outfit that still fits and looks appropriate for the office without being overly smart, playing with the dog (partner feeds & walks her). Checking bus times on my phone and heading off to work.

What will you be doing between 9am and 10am?

Taking the bus to work and setting myself up for the day in the office, responding to emails, drinking tea.

What will you be doing between 10am and 11am?

Office-based job - part-time (3.5 days a week). Usually work on two or three main tasks over the course of the day.

What will you be doing between 11am and 12pm?

Work on a particular task - design a workshop, write or edit a policy brief.

What will you be doing between 12pm and 1pm?

Worry about the fact that I can't always afford to buy lunch, and I really should get better at making sandwiches to bring in. Eating lunch in front of my computer. Checking twitter and facebook.

What will you be doing between 1pm and 5pm?

Work on a particular task or go to a work meeting

What will you be doing between 5pm and 6pm?

Respond to emails, check my to do list.

What will you be doing between 6pm and 7pm?

Head home (bus or walk). Call partner to figure out what we're doing for dinner, probably get him to do something about it or suggest take away. Attempt to have dinner before evening voluntary meeting starts.

What will you be doing between 7pm and 8pm?

Check in on volunteering emails and tasks - variety of local politics things, local NGOs and international NGOs. Work on a particular task that I've committed to. (all unpaid).

What will you be doing between 8pm and 9pm?

Attend a meeting either in person or by Skype with one of the organisations I'm volunteering with. Feel guilty and offer to take notes.

What will you be doing between 9pm and 10pm?

Send around notes from meeting. Watch something mindless on TV with partner - probably Pointless.

What will you be doing between 10pm and 11pm?

Take out the dog. Possibly do some dishes, or just complain to partner about how messy the flat is.

What will you be doing between 11pm and 12pm?

Go to bed - if not tired, watch TV or listen to a podcast. On a really good day, attempt to read a book. Get distracted by work emails.

What will you be doing between 12am and 1am?

Should be asleep but likely checking emails - work and for voluntary tasks, making a mental to do list for the next day
