And then I...

wash, dress, comb hair, put on make-up and leave house to travel to work. Leave husband tea/coffee and paper money. Pat dog on way out. Drive to station or join motorway depending on how traffic looks on way to main town. Check emails on train or sing if driving to work

My day will consist of...

8 hours of work in NHS. Desk based. Manage staff and counsel as needed Meeting with external partners and arranging further meetings Travelling home and a little shopping Cooking tea Catching up with news on BBC Smiling mostly and trying not to be grumpy

I'll look after...

Husband and 2 grandchildren Dog

Other things I'll do in the day are...

Have coffee and chat at lunchtime with good friend; Check the sport, especially Tennis result; Whatsapp the family, three grown-up children to hear how they are getting on; Walk dog after tea; Watch television; Talk extensively to husband and hear how his day has gone; Might do some ironing but might not; Get diesel for car; Clean bathrooms; sort socks and fold towels; Phone my two elderly Aunts; Speak to girl friends via whatsapp; Check on my little plants which are growing on the windowsill, water if necessary; Shower and wash/dry hair; Put on make-up, comb hair and look out clothes for next day; Read paper and attempt crossword; Check I have enough change for parking or train fare depending on which travel option I choose; Check emails and open post; Listen to colleagues troubles and travails, offer advice when asked
