Trying to sleep

Hopefully sleeping

What will you be doing between 2am and 7am?

Sleeping unless dad rings for help.

What will you be doing between 7am and 8am?

Getting up to prepare for the day ahead. Ensuring my daughter is up and dressed for school and has all she needs including eating breakfast.

What will you be doing between 8am and 9am?

Shower, breakfast, check on dad, empty urine bottle, give medication, check oxygen levels, prepare breakfast for mum, try to get dad to eat and drink something. Walk dog round the block.

Q16: What will you be doing between 9am and 10am?

Phoning doctor/palliative nurse/district nurse if needed. Empty dishwasher and tidy up after breakfast. Put washing on.

What will you be doing between 10am and 11am?

Dust and hoover mums house, mop floors tidy up. Answering dad's bell. Help dad wash.

What will you be doing between 11am and 12pm?

Shopping for general food stuff, collecting meds if necessary.

What will you be doing between 12pm and 1pm?

Prep lunch for mum, remind her to check blood glucose level, advise on insulin if required or not. Try to get dad to eat.

What will you be doing between 1pm and 2pm?

Having a bite to eat and chatting with mum. Helping dad as required.

What will you be doing between 2pm and 3pm?

Prep for main meal and head home to collect daughter from school.

What will you be doing between 3pm and 4pm?

Tidying own house, putting washing on.

What will you be doing between 4pm and 5pm?

Back to mum's to prepare meal for everyone, check dads oxygen levels.

What will you be doing between 5pm and 6pm?

Cooking, help daughter with homework if she has any. Check emails.

What will you be doing between 6pm and 7pm?

Eating dinner and clearing up after.

What will you be doing between 7pm and 8pm?

Ironing. Answering dad's bell.

What will you be doing between 8pm and 9pm?

Try to get dad to eat. Giving out medication, checking Oxygen level.

What will you be doing between 9pm and 10pm?

Helping dad get settled for the night.

What will you be doing between 10pm and 11pm?

Feet up watch telly. Listen out for dad.

What will you be doing between 11pm and 12pm?

Making sure mum has taken meds, check her blood glucose and advise on insulin.
